Hax and Fax: How I managed to reduce my screen time

Dear Readers, as the titles Hax (Hacks) and Fax (Facts) suggest, you might think "Here comes yet another blogger discussing the disadvantages of mobile phone devices." That's not the fact here to be utterly honest.

In this blog post, I will share some Hacks which I managed to incorporate to reduce my screen time of mobile drastically. Also, I will share some Facts that might help a bit too.

What do we tend to do in our free time nowadays? We either scroll through social media sites or play games online on the phone. Although this is the same thing I do, I would suggest keeping the usage limited and not too much.

Not long ago, I suffered a severe headache in the backside of my head, implying that it was a kind of pressure on the eyes. Even though I keep wearing blue ray glasses, it became unbearable at a point.

Here are some things I follow up on:

Every morning I wake up, the First thing I do is charge my phone. I make sure that whenever I step out of the house for work, it stays at 100% battery power. Now here comes the catch, Never ever my mobile phone goes down to 70% (except when there is a cricket match). Avoid scrolling through the social media feed during work, do this only during your free time.

Instead of going deep inside the world of reels or shorts, interact with team members around you. Share funny stories and your knowledge. There are only 2 times my phone is not with me though, during eating and during bathing or other stuff. This will save you some battery. Set a goal that your 100% battery power should not fall below a certain level, say 60% or something.

On weekends though, there is no such time limit I impose upon myself, but during working hours, I try to reduce the screen time as much as possible. The simple hack is to talk to the people around. And even if there is no one to talk to. just observe the surroundings, Being minimalist is a key.

Not much to write today would like to sign off.
