Midnight Diaries : The Late Night Thoughts of mine before bed

Image
Has it ever happened with you? You go to bed after a long tiring day and these countless thoughts come back to haunt you. You start talking to yourself all of a sudden in the bed itself, giving justifications and imagining the mistakes that could have been corrected. I have read somewhere that whenever a thought haunts you, you write it down on a piece of paper, and then you burn it down. Well I don't play with fire. I decided to write down my thoughts in a blog post. Right here. Hopefully I will sleep peacefully today... Because instead of talking this stuff to myself, I am trying to experiment it by talking, I mean writing it here...

To be a Lone Wolf or not to be - That is the question

Image
As per Shakespeare's quote in one of his plays (If I Am Not Wrong) "To be or not to be - That is the question", I have kept the blog topic.  Hello, fellow readers to this new blog post. Today we are speaking about a topic to which a typical introvert personality will relate more than other people. People who don't want to mix up with others and prefer to take matters into their own hands. Yes, that is what Lone Wolf means. I am sure you must seen this image every where on the web, be it in the form of memes or whatsoever. To clear doubts, being Lone Wolf is not like being an animal (Just Kidding). Let us have a look at the formal definition from Google on this topic. The fact that being incorporating this kind of personality is not an easy task. It has its own disadvantages. But what makes it a good trait in a person, is how you cope with the challenges encountered while being a lone wolf. Let us have a look at the potential challenges people with these personalitie...

The Voice of Silence : A Room Full of People, Yet Completely Alone

Image
"The worst part of holding the memories is not the pain. It’s the loneliness of it. Memories need to be shared." — Lois Lowry, The Giver Hello My Fellow readers. This blog is specially for those people, who "think" they are lonely. Well, the topic of today's blog is something specifically I was saving for many days. Actually, by writing this blog, I might be able to convey the immense amount of whirlwinds of thoughts rushing through my mind, to the people like you. After all, have a look at the above quote. This quote perfectly captures the sorrow of carrying unspoken emotions, whether it's grief, lost love, forgotten sacrifices, or silent struggles. It emphasizes the deep human need for connection even when words fail. If you are wondering, if that is me in the above image, no it's not. It has become a need nowadays to speak on this issue. I have been hearing many cases, in which loneliness makes someone go crazy.  There’s a peculiar kind of loneline...

Does others' Opinions Matter?

Image
"Ah!! There you are again." What do you make up of this tone, the user is annoyed to welcome you. But this is not the same case with me, as I am here to welcome fellow readers and let us talk (blog) on a very general topic. A topic which most of the people in the world face. It is none other than "What will others say??" A Harsh Reality Check: Let me emphasize a thing. I have been with multiple people, of course, each with a different personality. We have to live life with the person accordingly after analyzing or should I say "reading" his/her mind. Let me discuss a few examples of people. 1) A person who has strong opinions Some people I met had a very strong opinion about a particular thing. The fact that it is so strong that they never admit its shortcomings. We must have observed this kind of person everywhere; in fact in each of our friend circles. Such kinds of person never change their opinion. They don't tend to think about their group's o...

Decoding the fondness of Nostalgia

Image
Imagine walking down an old video game store on your way to the office. You see a group of kids playing games inside. The moment you see them, you tend to go back in time and process your old memories. Okay leave that, walking further, you see another group of kids playing gully cricket. Once again you go back in time and try to remember you had no worries (apart from doing school homework of course), and you have lived the best time of your lives way earlier. This feeling of going back in time (or I must say good times), is defined as Nostalgia. When someone says about Nostalgia, it basically means going back down memory lane, reminiscing old times. Sometimes I too go back into my childhood and imagine the time when the lights were out, there were no mobile phones, and no investors to handle power cuts. We would light up candles, and people from the society used to gather around and talk. Big Men one group, Ladies one group, Kids one group like that we used to gather and discuss ...
