Midnight Diaries : The Late Night Thoughts of mine before bed

Image
Has it ever happened with you? You go to bed after a long tiring day and these countless thoughts come back to haunt you. You start talking to yourself all of a sudden in the bed itself, giving justifications and imagining the mistakes that could have been corrected. I have read somewhere that whenever a thought haunts you, you write it down on a piece of paper, and then you burn it down. Well I don't play with fire. I decided to write down my thoughts in a blog post. Right here. Hopefully I will sleep peacefully today... Because instead of talking this stuff to myself, I am trying to experiment it by talking, I mean writing it here...

Have We Lost the Unspoken Art of On-Table Conversations?

Image
"Addiction is deadly. When you are at it, even though you know its disadvantages, you still trudge down the path; regardless of the outcomes". You might be wondering, fellow readers, if today's blog post's title and above quote make sense. Well, stick with me through this blog post, and feel free to jot down your thoughts in the comments. My close friends are well aware (not quite sure) of my personality. I tend to be the quietest person in a room full of people. Thus, heavy conversations are certainly not my trait. I engage in conversation with the person if our interests align at some point. But I am interested in chatting with that person sitting with me who talks back and we have a fun discussion; not someone who is constantly on his/her....mobile phone. I am putting forth my observations, Whenever I wander around for lunch or dinner in hotels, I see these kind of people everywhere, I repeat everywhere. Imagine sitting at the table with 3-4 people, yet someone c...

"No!! YOU AGAIN!!" Oh, I am sorry. I was angry. Just kidding. This is how most people react when someone approaches them after having a tremendously horrible day. Obviously the person is in a very bad mood and he/she will shoo away anyone, regardless of the intentions of the approached guy. In this article, we are going to talk about one of the important topics, which is "Anger". To put things simply, Anger is a natural emotion that everyone experiences at some point in their lives. In this blog post, we will explore effective anger management techniques and how they can lead to a happier, healthier, and more productive life. I will start off with my own story of course. The pe...

My story: A Guide on being a better Co-Tenant

Image
Hey there fellow readers, As we know many people go out of town, for studies and for a job. But for the first-timers, the experience of living away from home might be a bit challenging. As for a few peeps out there, who haven't left their home and suddenly they have too can be a bit hectic. Consider yourself as a college student. You have completed all your schooling and junior college in your hometown. Now after 18-19 years, you will be stepping out for the first time away from home, away from the comfort zones, away from beloved parents. It is a hard pill to swallow at first for many. In this blog, I would want to share my experiences as a first-timer out-of-town traveler, and how I met some amazing co-tenants and maintained healthy friendships with them. Back in 2019, when I first time traveled to live away from home at the age of 18, it was a bit heavy to go away from my friends and family. But as I grew habitual of living away with the constant support of talk back home, one ...

In Loyalty, I believe! : A rarely precious quality

Image
Imagining the situation where a close friend leaves you all alone, even though you helped him in his/her toughest time leaves you in a mess. Though, it is very hard to determine the difference between a real and fake friend, we have no other alternative to look. We must stay alert, 24X7. The advantage of being loyal is that you get the good treatment you deserve. But the problem is you are likely to be backstabbed. Loyalty is very rare these days. People tend to look more opportunities in this growing world. Obviously, there is a big competition among people in this fast paced world, hate also increases owing to the threat people think we can posses. . . . Here go e s my story. During my board exams I came across a guy Mr. Vallabh. Now this Mr. Vallabh was very cute looking guy as well as very loyal to whomsoever comes in contact with him. I was broken at that time as I realized my closest friends from the beginning of my childhood were just using me. I cried a lot in the corner thinki...
